SETTING YOUR PERSONAL
COMBINATION
Your new resettable combination
padlock is present to open at 0-0-0,
even though dials may be positioned at
other numbers.
STEP 1
Turn the dials and align the numbers
0-0-0 so they are clearly visible inside
the “Windows”.
STEP 2
Pull up the shackle and turn
it 90 counterclockwise to
align the nub on the shackle
with the notch on the lock
body.
STEP 3
Press the shackle down all the way and
hold down the shackle firmly. Set the
dials to your own desired combination.
Do not let go of the shackle while
setting the dials.
STEP 4
Release the shackle and
turn back to the original
position. Your lock will
now open at your own
personal combination.
INDICATOR
1. The red indicator feature will show
when TSA screeners open the lock
with their specific access.
2. To return the red indicator to
its original / hidden position, simply
turn the dials to your combination,
pull up the shackle and turn it 360
counterclockwise until you hear the
sound of a “click” or insert a small
pin-like device (pen point, paperclip..
etc.) down into the small hole that
is located on the opposite end of
the dials.
NOTE:
The Transportation
Security administration
(TSA) screeners and
airline check-in staff at
airports are trained to
recognize the Travel
Sentry ® logo. They
understand that baggage
with locks displaying this
mark are permitted to
remain locked.
TSA screeners have access to special
codes that allow them to open those
locks in the event that the baggage
must be opened for inspection. With
Travel Sentry ® Approved locks the
TSA can screen checked baggage
faster, without having to break open
locks.
