It is a full time job just to keep up with the many new cases which are added almost daily- when cops get
caught. Most continue their predation for years - sometimes decades- before their actions are discovered.
States Attorneys General wrote the letter to the Village Voice and backpage.com demanding that they
shut down the adult ads to protect children. The actual quote from their letter is this "We have tracked
more than 50 instances, in 22 states over three years, of charges filed against those trafficking or
attempting to traffic minors on Backpage.com. These are only the stories that made it into the news;
many more instances likely exist..." to which we say, the same is true of the number of cases of cops
and other law enforcement agents who have sexually exploited children.
A child is not likely to want to report their sexual exploitation at
the hands of a trusted member of law enforcement to... another
member of law enforcement...
