Comments: Repeat business for third time to this
painter – a recommendation in itself.

Description of work: Painted the outside of the house,
back and front, including walls, woodwork and
drainage pipes. He quoted for one weeks work,
prepare all surfaces and paint them including the
eves on our Granny Flat.
Comments: I found Jimmy to be polite, he appeared
knowledgeable and competent. He turned up as
promised and started on the agreed day. He worked
9 – 2pm for 3 days. I was surprised to notice that he
never washed areas down, sanded or prepared any
areas including the woodwork. He also never used
undercoat or masked the windows. He claimed I
never advised him of the granny flat, however he did
do it when asked. I have just spent 5 hours today,
scraping paint and washing the front path to remove
paint.

Comments: He did a good job and I would
recommend him but if I had to say anything negative
it would be that he was in too much of a hurry and
scratched the new light fittings and scraped a bit of

and bedroom. He done a great job and even came
back an extra day as he was not totally pleased with
one finish. He still only charged initial estimate.
Totally pleased with work done.
Comments: Mr Buckley was very easy to
communicate with as well as being professional. As I
am on my own (pensioner) I found him comfortable to
be in my home. I would have no qualms about using
him again and would certainly recommend him.

Comments: Very helpful and friendly. Job looks good
and I’m very pleased. He was prompt and polite,
punctual and a fast worker. He helped move furniture
and choose paint. Trustworthy. I would use him

exterior of 2-storey semi-detached house, including
gable end, front and back walls, guttering. Re-painted
same. Paint and filler supplied by Mr Buckley.
Comments: Mr Buckley was reliable and courteous,
and left his work area tidy at the end of each day.
The gable end in particular was in poor condition, but
he put in a lot of work to remove all the flaking paint.
The new paint job is excellent.

be steamed off and was very labour intensive
because of the adhesive used.
Comments: This proved to be a more difficult job
than was first thought but Jimmy stuck to the task
and went that extra mile by putting in more time to
complete on schedule and at no additional cost.

paint that I was able to choose colours beforehand
and products were of a good quality. I was able to
leave Mr Buckley unattended. He was very
trustworthy and friendly (professional).
Comments: He arrived early each day at agreed
time. He was very tidy and cleaned up all materials
each day. I have already recommended Mr Buckley
to family and work friends who have also used his
services.
