Survey: Pick Time for a New Bible Study
Pastor Ari is planning to start a new Bible study
focused on the major stories and themes of the
Bible. To serve as many people as possible, he's
made a 5-question survey to find the best time for
the group. If you're interested, please follow this
link to share your input.
Youth Trip Fundraiser
Meeting: Sunday at Noon
Students interested in going to Wilderness Canoe
Base Aug. 5-12, 2017, should bring a parent, their
calendar, and their $50 non-refundable commitment
check. We'll discuss registration and fundraisers. If
you did not attend an interest meeting, but would

Pastor Weeden's Bible Study All Group
Meeting

"Understanding Loss and Grief" will be the topic of
Pastor Weeden's annual combined meeting of his
study groups Sunday, February 12, from 12:00 to
1:30. We will be exploring what things that need to
happen for healthy grieving, the many subtle losses
that most of us are experiencing in addition to the
obvious ones, Biblical grief-references, what to say
and what NEVER to say to a griever -- and many
other sub topics. A (free) light lunch will be available.
All are welcome AT this meeting! However, we
would like an estimate of attendees for appropriate
food quantities and presentation handouts; if you are
NOT in either of Pastor Richard's study groups,
please RSVP him at
[email protected] or Ronna at the
Church Office.
Sunday School and Good Gifts
At Cross+Generational Sunday School, students
purchased animals and services from ELCA Good
Gifts with their offering money. As members of a
global community and as disciples of Christ, they
bought: School fees and uniform for a girl, school
supplies, water purification tablets, honey bees, a
goat, chicks, a pig, a rooster, a month of food for
child orphaned by AIDS, and a clinic visit for a child!
Nursery Organizers Needed
we are looking for 1-2 volunteers to maintain the
busy bags used by children during church and to
organize a nursery cleaning schedule. You wouldn't
need to do this alone! The organizer would ask
others for help and organize volunteers. We

The 5th Annual Brothers K Fundraiser
Saturday, March 11 from 5-8pm at MLC. Join us for
dinner, silent auction, raffle, and beer pull at 5pm.
The live auction and program will be from 6:307:30pm. You can purchase tickets at the door but
please RSVP to Tim or Lani Knutson. Adults are $20
and kids are free. We hope to see you there!
