Macarons
Easy recipe of macarons for 4 people:
- 1 white egg
- 74g of icing sugar
- 42g of almond powder
- 10g of caster sugar
- ½ teaspoon of food colouring paste
Preparation of macarons :
- Mix the icing sugar and the almond powder in a blender and then pass through a sieve, it must be as
thin as possible.
- Beat the white egg until stiff, add the caster sugar and the food colouring paste.
- Add the icing sugar and the almond powder to the white egg and then mix delicately with a spatula.
- Put the macarons batter in a piping bag and make little circles on a cooktop covered with
greaseproof paper.
- Leave it to rest for 15 minutes.
- Put the cooktop of macarons on a other cooktop already hot in the oven for 10 minutes at 140-150°
(thermostat 4-5) rotating heat and half-opened door.
- Then, take out the cooktop, and pour a little bit of water under the greaseproof paper to unstick the
macarons.
- To finish, stick the macarons with the ganache of your choice and enjoy !
