First through sixth place ribbons may be given in each class as merited by the quality of the exhibits in each
class. *
*Note: Only one rosette will be awarded, and this will be the highest rosette earned.
AGRICULTURE GENERAL RULES:
1. All products exhibited must have been grown in Doña Ana, Bernalillo, Catron, Grant,
Hidalgo, Luna, Otero, Socorro, Sierra, Valencia, and El Paso Counties during this crop
season. Pecans, cottonseed, and wine may be from previous season.
2. All entries should be cleaned, free of blemishes, and when more than one is
required for entry they should be consistent in color and uniform in size.
3. All produce should be the appropriate age and size for normal, edible use.
4. Entries for the largest categories will be judged by weight rather than size.
5 .The superintendent may, at their discretion, declare a new class (AG) to aid the judges in separation of
entries.
6. Exhibits will be judged Wednesday of Fair week at 10:00 a.m.
7. The Superintendent may at his or her discretion replace any cash prize with a gift certificate of equal or
greater value.

A “Show and Tell” opportunity for grape growers / wine makers to show Southern New Mexico just what
their product looks like in the bottle.
A chance to bring your different bottle designs and a small sign naming your business or winery.
Bottles must be either filled with water or empty.
NO real product please.
No judging, no awards! A real “Show and Tell”.
