Pursuant to third indent of the second paragraph of the Article 55 and the Article 57 of the
Higher Education Act (Ur. l. RS1, Nos 119/2006 – OST3, 64/2''8, 86/2009, 78/2011) and point
15 of the Article 47 of the University of Ljubljana Statute (Ur. l. RS, Nos. 8/2005, 72/2006
(76/2006 corr.), 59/2007 (82/2007 corr.), 81/2007, 5/2008, 42/2008, 62/2008, 3/2009,
14/2009, 38/2009 and 48/2009. 3/2010, 47/2010, 18/2011, 26/2011, 89/2011 and 26/2012)
the University of Ljubljana Senate adopted at its 27th session held on April 24, 2012, the
following
Amendments to Criteria for the Appointment to the Titles of University Teacher,
Researcher and Associate of the University of Ljubljana
Article 1
In the first paragraph of the Article 47 a new indent is added, so that the paragraph reads:
“A candidate proves the international acclaim of their work specifically with the following
indicators of international acclaim:
- internationally resounding publications,
- demonstrable citations in scientific literature,
- invitations to hold lectures at international scientific gatherings,
- membership in the editorial boards of international journals,
- membership in foreign academies,
- holding of the chair of a subject at international undergraduate and postgraduate
programmes, and
- pedagogical collaboration in the provision of undergraduate and postgraduate study
programmes at foreign universities.”
Article 2
In the Article 49 the wording »in one of the widely spoken foreign languages” is substituted by
the wording “in a foreign language”.
Article 3
In the first indent, first paragraph of the Article 55 (quantitative conditions), after the wording
»has published at least 14« »internationally resounding or excellent« is added.
Article 4
In the first paragraph of the Article 59 (quantitative conditions), after the wording »has
published at least 7« »internationally resounding or excellent« is added.

Article 5
In the second indent, first paragraph of the Article 63 (quantitative conditions), after the
wording »has published at least 3« »internationally resounding or excellent« is added.
Article 6
These amendments enter into force the next day after adoption of the amendments at the
Universioty of Ljubljana Senate.
The amendments are published on the website of the University of Ljubljana.
