LO-B69 Removable Basketball Rim.
Applications: Removal Rims were created to reduce the risk of vandalism created by un-supervised
usage. Rims are easily removed from their mounting bracket by using the removing pole supplied.
No Ladders, NO pad locks. Rim packages are supplied with two types of mounting brackets:
LO-B69W-Wall bracket allows for bracket to be mounted onto wall face or front mounted backboards
Includes: Rim, wall bracket, mounting hardware, removing pole, and nylon mesh.
LO-B69B-Backboardl bracket allows for bracket to be mounted onto rear mounted backboards only
Includes: Rim, backboard bracket, mounting hardware, removing pole, and nylon mesh.
Specifications: The LO-B69 goal shall be constructed from heavy duty mounting plates with
additional side braces to strengthen rim. Goal shall be designed so that any possible entrapment
areas have been eliminated. Goal shall have official size 18" ring of 5/8" diameter steel with no-tie net
attachment. Brackets manufactured from extruded aluminum allow to eliminate rusting in outdoor
applications. Extruded aluminum allows rim to slid with-in the designed groves, holding it secure for
playing, while being able to slide the rim out of the bracket with the removing pole.
Finish: Goal shall have a durable Orange Powder Coated finish. The application of powder coating
involves no emissions into the air or water as they consist of dry matter only – unlike liquid paint
applications which require an evaporating VOC and cleaning solvents. In addition, powder coating
finishes are more durable and last much longer than liquid paint, are corrosion and chemical
resistant, and only require one application, compared to liquid, to yield a thick, strong coat.
