A rainbow has seven different colors.
Rainbows happen when the sun shines
on rain. You can see them only if you are
between the sun and the rain, and if the sun is not too high
in the sky. It’s easy to remember the order of colors in a

orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.
