Here are a few stories to give you a real life picture of what slavery looks like. Share a few real life stories of slavery: DOWNLOAD STORIES CALL TO ACTION: Slavery is heartbreaking. It’s shocking. It’s unbelievable that the buying and selling of human beings is STILL happening in our lifetime. It’s wrong. But rescue is coming. Change is happening. People rising up and saying, enough is enough. Not on my watch. Not in my lifetime. I want to be part of the movement to END IT. No matter who you are, where you work, and regardless of your age, you are invited to play a pivotal role in the fight against slavery and to be a force for good. The END IT Movement is a movement to raise awareness. We want every man, woman and child in America to know that there are men, women and children just like them around the world being bought and sold, and trapped in horrific slavery. Awareness is doing the work of ending slavery. Yes, we want to kick in the brothel doors and rescue the children. Yes, we want to shake up governments and make them pay attention to what is REALLY happening in their own backyard (and those things ARE happening through awesome organizations around the globe), but the first step for you and me in the battle to end slavery is to AWAKEN every person to the reality that slavery still exists. From there, action will overflow. There is no easy 1, 2, 3 step plan how we will win this fight for freedom. There never is in these great battles. The more people who know that slavery exists, the louder our collective voice will become, and then a tide of change will come.
