Interactive Notebooks
This year 7th grade social studies will be doing interactive notebooks. The purpose of having
students learn from using interactive notebooks is that it provides students the opportunity to
receive new information, time to process/digest that information, and time to respond to that
information.
Daily tasks/activities will be will be worked on and completed on the left side of the interactive
notebook. The right side of the notebook will be for the student responses. Students will be
provided with a variety of different formats throughout the week to respond to the material

the age of 16, another subject teacher, etc. The other gradings may include a student’s selfassessment or a peer assessment, which would be completed in class.
