The best outcome is realized when each member of an implant team coordinates his/her efforts with other members. This approach is being applied to the practice of implant dentistry through the BIOMET 3i SYNERGY TRAINING PROGRAM® (STP®). Please join us for this innovative educational program where you will have the opportunity to train and practice together. Dear Colleague: We have just finished the first year of our new “handson” continuing education program in implant dentistry, or “mini-residency”. The feedback from the participants has been great and we are planning our next series of classes. Last year we treatment planned over 150 implants, from straight forward single tooth implant restorations to fixed hybrid implant supported prostheses. This year we’ll start with a review of the basic components and concepts and learn how to deliver the value that an implant restoration can provide. This course will reinforce your confidence in the product and service your are delivering. During these sessions, Dr. Steven LoCascio will demonstrate an actual clinical case with treatment images he has organized for every patient scenario you may have. Not every practice has multiple implant cases lying around begging to be completed, or do they? Dr. LoCascio disagrees. He can help you find these patients in your practice, and with this type of learning by doing, makes it easy to remember the key points when you go back to the office the following week. This course is more than a CE course, more than a “mini-residency”; it’s a resource for knowledge. In addition to what information you absorb in the classes, Dr. LoCascio, Biomet 3i, and myself open up our lines of communication to you for any questions, assistance, and opinions we have on patient care and service that you think would benefit you or your patients. Please take advantage of this opportunity to tailor your implant practice to the type of practice you would like it to become. Feel free to call me to discuss any questions you may have concerning the course. I hope to see you there.
