The Right Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP who is the Minister for the Environment said that the legislation will come into effect from 2009-2010. The Minister indicated that special needs areas, such as medical lighting and oven lamps will be taken into consideration when drafting the new legislation. Below is an example of the usage of incandescent lamps and the highlighted area maybe targeted for replacement.
