The credit policy validation can be configured to recommend a decision or to make decisions automatically. Policy elements include the specific credit characteristics, such as loan amount, LTV, borrower FICO scores, borrower or credit risk rating, net worth, debt to worth ratio, type of credit or collateral, etc., and can be configured for evaluation. Credit policies can be configured to allow specific users or roles (such as senior credit administrator) to override a decision. In such instances, CreditQuest Credit Manager logs the override, the user who overrode and requires justification.
