Figures are estimates given by Host University. Figures were given in host currency and converted to United States Dollars using a floating exchange rate. As of 9/29/15 1 Mexican Peso (MXN) = 0.0586982 Accommodations given by the university are 3,500 Pesos per month. Meals are suggested around 2,000 pesos per month. Cost of local transportation can vary. University provides a free shuttle service for students on campus. Please budget for university books for around 100 USD per semester. International Health Insurance is required. The Global Emergency Coverage is the minimum. Private health insurance is also accepted. Personal Expenses given by the university are 1,500 Pesos per month. A U.S. student enrolling for six months or less may enter into Mexico with a tourist card, and does not require a student visa. Airfare is an estimated average price from 5 different airlines. Dates ranged for five months for the duration of the semester. Please note extra travel expenses, cell phone, internet, etc. are not included. Budget accordingly. These costs are an estimate based on the campus in Mexico City.
