Dear Parent(s) and/or Guardian(s),
I hope your holiday break was full of great memories, rest, and relaxation. I
definitely heard all about the fun and exciting things that happened over the
break when we got back to school this week! Now that we have one full
week under our belts in 2015, we are rapidly approaching the halfway point
of the school year. In two weeks’ time, the students will again be
completing benchmark testing in the language arts and math classrooms.
These tests are a true indicator to us about how much progress and growth
your children have made since the beginning of the school year. Due to our
two-hour delay this past Thursday morning, our field trip to the high school
planetarium was rescheduled for this upcoming Friday, January 16th. Since
all of you already signed permission forms for this trip, you will not need to
complete another form. If you have any questions or concerns about your
child’s progress in the classroom, please do not hesitate to contact me at
your convenience. Have a great next two weeks! Try and stay warm!
