Live the Collective Commitments!
Have you recently noticed your student wearing a new Red Raider
bracelet? We’ve started our “Live the Collective Commitments”
campaign. We’ll be focusing on each of our Collective Commitments
in the weeks ahead, beginning with Treating Others with Dignity
and Respect. Staff members are awarding red #BE NICE bracelets to
students who go above and beyond to demonstrate this
commitment. Students can also nominate each other when they
see a great example of Treating Others with Dignity and Respect.
In the weeks ahead, we’ll focus on Taking Care of this Great Place
and Doing Quality Work with additional bracelets. We’ve also
invited Kevin Laue to share his story of overcoming challenges and
reaching one’s potential in a school-wide assembly on December 13.
We’re proud of our Collective Commitments and believe they are
crucial in making Bellingham High School such a special place for
our Raider family.
On another note, we are continuing to seek input about our school

How Can I Get Weather/Emergency Information?
The district will use a variety of methods to keep families and staff
informed. When there are changes to school schedules due to
snow/inclement weather, this information is communicated generally
by 6 a.m.

Receive closure or delay notification through SchoolMessenger.
An email notification will automatically be sent to you if you have an
email in Skyward Family Access. To receive closure or delay notification
via phone or text, you need to have managed your SchoolMessenger
contact preferences and opt-in for Early AM messaging. Call 676-6520 to
manage your contact preferences. As stated above, an email
notification will automatically be sent if your email address is already
in Skyward.
