FUNCTIONS MANAGER E:[email protected] P: 07 3262 2733 F: 07 3262 1874 THE WINE ROOMS Capacity: 60 pax Cocktail 24 pax Sit Down 30 Conference Theatre Style Hire Fee: $100.00 (Includes personal waiter) The Wine Room is an intimate sophisticated room, lit by a large elegant Chandelier with an area of wines displayed to the ceiling. We have two adjoining rooms, just off from the main bar, both of which you may use for your booking. Cocktail Style If you choose cocktail style we have a wide range of platters to suit your guests as well as the option of adding a bar tab with a dollar limit for them to utilise. Alternatively you can choose a selection of wines and beers from the bar to have in the room, which can be replenished by your waiter throughout the evening. Private Dining We welcome guests to try one of our alternate drop set menus, or to order off our main menu. You can choose from table service drinks or from a selection of wines to have on the table in the room. THE LOUNGE BAR Capacity: 60 pax Cocktail 40 pax Sit Down Hire Fee: $100 Minimum Spend: 2 Platters The lounge bar is a relaxed semi private area lit by elegant shaded lamps and is centrally located off the main bar. Suitable for a variety of intimate events such as birthdays, engagement, wakes, and corporate drinks. The Lounge bar area has a private Smoking area off it and has the ability to show a photo slide show via the plasma TV. RESTURANT COURTYARD Capacity: 150 pax Cocktail 80 pax Sit Down Hire Fee: No Hire Fee Applies Minimum Spend: $3500.00 (Minimum spend is made up of catering and bar spend – Security hire, and decorations not included in minimum spend). The Restaurant Courtyard is set in a tropical garden scene, with beautifully sculptured waterfall features under a large canopy. On a balmy night this area is perfect for your larger functions and events however it can also be sectioned off and transformed into the perfect private function area for more intimate functions. This area is ideal for entertainment, cocktail parties, runway shows, birthdays, reunions, large corporate events, engagements and so on. CREATING YOUR PERFECT EVENT EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE: Projectors, TV’ from slide shows, Microphones – please let us know what you may need for your function so we can assist with any special request. CAKE: Feel welcome to bring your own cake and we can supply napkins / knife and a cool room to store; or choose from our delicious dessert selection. DECORATION PACKAGE: Helium Balloons - $10 a bunch For events such as birthdays, engagement parties, or any special occasion we can cater with latex helium balloons of any colour selection to match your theme for $10 a bunch. (Bunches of 8 balloons tied to a decorative balloon weight) Taking the stress out of running around to organise and letting us create the atmosphere for you. ALL alcohol must be purchased from The Cucina Bar. CATERING The Albion Hotel provides catering for functions, food of any kind is not to be brought on to the premises and consumed unless it has been organised prior to the function by the function coordinator. MUSIC/ENTERTAINMENT Due to restrictions on The Albion Hotel’s liquor license the only music allowed to be played is through the sound system. Live music and any other entertainment is not permitted in the function room. DAMAGES The function organiser will be responsible for any breakage, damage, theft, or vandalism to the venue or the property of The Albion Hotel during, or associated with, the event. Damage must be reported to the manager on duty immediately upon discovery. CANCELLATIONS If a confirmed booking is subsequently cancelled, the deposit will be forfeited unless the cancellation is made at 7 days prior to the function. PAYMENT The alcohol/beverages and any other extra costs can be paid for on the night by cash or credit. It is recommended that all food items are paid for before the function so as to make the night flow more freely. Cheques are not accepted. MINORS Any minor on the premises, must be accompanied by a responsible adult. A responsible adult is deemed to be a person who has parental or guardianship rights over that minor. Management reserves the right to decide what is to be deemed a responsible adult. The responsible adult must at all times have control over the minor. This means that the minor is always within several meters of the responsible adult. Leaving the minor in the function area, whilst the responsible adult is in the smoking area, is not acceptable. No minor is permitted to consume alcohol whilst in the Hotel for any reason what so ever. If any minor is found to be consuming alcohol, or attempting to purchase or attempting to consume alcohol, they will immediately be asked to leave the Hotel. The manager on duty has the right to remove the entire group from the premises. The manager on duty’s decision is final and no negotiation will be entered into. No minor is to be supplied with alcohol at any time even by a parent or legal guardian. Minors are not permitted in the Gaming room or areas set aside for the purpose of wagering. Minors are not to be seated at any bar throughout the premise. Notification of any minors that will be attending the function will be necessary at the time of making the booking. No minors are to be on premises after 10.00 pm in accordance with our House Policy
