Did You Know . . .
Benjamin Franklin loved taking Air Baths to refresh his
mind, body and spirit. Taking an Air Bath like Ben’s is
simple. Just stand in front of a window, open it, take off
all your clothes -- and enjoy!
John Adams and Thomas Jefferson both died on July 4,
1826, the 50th anniversary of the approval of the Declaration
of Independence, the document each of them held dear.
Betsy Ross garnered the nickname “The Little Rebel” for
more than just the treasonous act of flag making. During
the winter of 1778-79, Betsy was paid by the Continental
Congress for making musket cartridges in her home!
George Washington’s dentures were not made of wood.
They were made of natural teeth set into a framework
of hippopotamus ivory. Some historians believe that the
denture teeth were human, others believe they were
crafted from walrus or elephant ivory.
