Here at the Celtic Hearth and Bridie Molloys, our kitchen
crew pride themselves on their commitment to sourcing,
purchasing, and serving local and regional products
whenever we can.
Here in St. John’s we can source fresh local produce from
local farms, bakeries, cheese makers, fish suppliers, beer
breweries, gatherers, and distributors. Next, we look to
­regional suppliers for beef, vegetables and maple syrup.
Much of the cuisine experienced here, is made in our own
kitchen and bakery. We pride ourselves in a sense of “homemade” dishes that exemplify Newfoundland traditions.
Newfoundland Homemade bread is our specialty!
This commitment is what drives the #intentiallylocal
movement, and we hope that you feel as good about eating
our local food, as we do about sourcing and making it.
