With stunning views of the river and Story Bridge and an extraordinary 1920’s inspired fit out,
Blackbird is the perfect space for any function or event.
Choose the specific space for your event be it a cluster of intimate booths, an opulent private
dining room or a place out on the balcony. With a range of dining areas available for exclusive
use, including the entire venue, anywhere between 10 to 500 guests can enjoy our incredible
drinks and world-class menu, prepared by Executive Chef Jake Nicolson.
The experienced events team will aid in the pre-planning and, along with our professional wait
staff, help you to create an unforgettable event that will leave your guests impressed.

THE SPACES
PRIVATE DINING
CHAMPAGNE ROOM
Our Champagne Room, situated between the main dining room and bar area, seats guests in
the heart of our wine cellar. Guests may choose between our signature Feasting menu, Choice
menu or À la Carte in this dining area.
Room Capacity: 12 guests
Minimum Spend Requirement: Monday to Thursday Friday and Saturday $1,500 (seated)

Notes: Minimum spends can be easily achieved by selecting our signature feasting menu. Beverages can be preselected prior to your event.
A full wine list can be sent for perusal though please note that some wines may be unavailable. Our sommelier is available should you wish to

THE DECO ROOM
The Deco Room is a private dining space situated by the main dining room. Sectioned off by
glass walls and doors, the area is encircled by sheer curtains to provide privacy. Our signature
Feasting menu or Choice menu are available in this private dining room.

THE CHANDELIER TABLE
The Chandelier Table, set in the middle of the dining room upon a slightly elevated platform,
is positioned underneath an opulent lighting feature and surrounded with sheer curtains for
privacy. Our signature Feasting menu or À la Carte is available for this table.

EXCLUSIVE DINING ROOM USE
The dining room may be booked for exclusive use. Be it a seated or cocktail event, the
versatility of this space with its mixture of tables and banquets, allows it to cater any type
of function. Choose from either our seated or cocktail style packages or from our standard
beverage packages.

SPEAKEASY BAR
Our Speakeasy bar can be sectioned off with curtains and booked for exclusive use. Located
next to our Gatsby bar, it is designed to capture the prohibition era. With dark woods and
brown leathers, velvets and chesterfield couches, the guests can enjoy the best of the 1920’s
whilst taking in views of the Story Bridge and Brisbane River. Choose from our tailored canapé
and beverage options below.

GATSBY BAR
Our Gatsby bar reflects all the glamour of the 1920’s. It is located to the right of the main bar
and offers views of the Story Bridge, Kangaroo Point cliffs and the city sky light. There are three
booths, all with private curtains and marble tables, and chesterfield couches for seating on the
outside balcony. Choose from our tailored canapé and beverage packages below.
