Future tense of regular verbs
• Read the following sentences, paying attention to the boldfaced verbs in the future tense.
Las fábricas contaminarán el aire. (The factories will pollute the air.)
Protegeremos el medio ambiente. (We will protect the environment.)
Pedro escribirá un artículo . (Pedro will write an article.)
EXPLANATION: In Spanish, you form the future tense of regular verbs by attaching
future endings to the infinitive. Use the chart as a quick reference for future endings.
