Mungo Explorer

!
The significant discoveries of the oldest human
remains in Australia and evidence of the oldest ritual
burials in the world at Lake Mungo make this place a
phenomenal cultural and scientific site. These
discoveries caused history to be rewritten.
Mungo holds keys to understanding climatic changes in Australia across thousands
of years, it tells the story of deep time and of the Aboriginal people who lived
through the Ice Age and were at the forefront of human cultural evolution, with
modern humans living in Australia before they inhabited Europe.

“This CD is dedicated to assisting in some small way this nation’s passage
towards cultural enrichment. I trust it may deepen our understanding of both
the land we live in, and of those ancient people whose living descendants
survive to enrich us all.” - JIM BOWLER, Lake Mungo CD
