AIRPORT SERVICE
Let Port Authority take you to Pittsburgh
International Airport.
28X AIRPORT FLYER operates seven days a
week from approximately 3:25 a.m. to
12 Midnight and departs every 30 minutes
from Oakland, Downtown and most West
Busway stations.

Fare Information
Starting 1/1/17
One Zone. One Fare.
Base fare will be $2.50 with a ConnectCard. Cash riders
will pay $2.75 per ride.
Transfer for $1.00 with a ConnectCard.
$1 in stored cash value will be automatically deducted from
your balance within 3 hours of your last tap. Cash customers
will pay a full fare to transfer.
Pay as you enter.
Starting January 1, 2017, you will board through the front door
of the bus and pay as you enter. Every time, everywhere. This
means there will be no free fare zone for bus riders. You can
still ride the T for free anytime from First Avenue Station to
Allegheny Station.
Special Fares
Children [6-11] pay half the full ConnectCard fare with a
Kid’s ConnectCard.
MONONGAHELA & DUQUESNE INCLINE INFORMATION
Monongahela Incline by Bus
The Monongahela Incline is easily reached by bus
from Downtown Pittsburgh by boarding routes 39,
40, 41, 43, 44, 48, 51, 51L, Y1, Y45, Y46, Y47 or
Y49. Exit the bus at the first stop after crossing the
Smithfield Street Bridge.
Monongahela Incline by Rail
The Monongahela Incline is located on West
Carson Street across from Station Square. Take
the Blue or Red line ‘T’ from any of the Downtown
subway stations and exit at Station Square. The
Incline is located a short distance away from the ‘T’
station.
Duquesne Incline by Bus
The Duquesne Incline is located on West Carson
Street just past the Fort Pitt Bridge. Routes
20, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31, and G2 operate
between Downtown and the Duquesne Incline.
Bikes on the Monongahela Incline
Bikes are permitted on the Incline seven days a
week at any time.
Bikes may only be stowed in the upper level of the
wheelchair accessible car. Only one bike is
permitted at a time.

we’re Making it Simple!
Big changes are coming to Port Authority that will
make riding faster, simpler and easier.
Here are some of the important changes you must know:
• Save money with a ConnectCard. Base fare is $2.50 per
ride with a ConnectCard. With cash, you’ll pay $2.75.
• We’re switching to a single zone/flat fare, which
means you’ll pay $2.50 per ride anytime, anywhere
when you use a ConnectCard.
• No more paper transfers. Use your ConnectCard on
your connecting trip and $1 will be deducted from your
balance. Cash users will pay a full fare for a transfer.
• You’ll board the bus in the front and pay when you
get on, regardless of where you are, what direction
you’re heading or time of day.

advantage of incline, T and bus service
between Mount Washington, Station Square,
Downtown, North Shore, and many other
destinations may wish to consider Port
Authority’s new Day Pass, available for
purchase at any ConnectCard vending
machine. Day passes are $7.00 and are valid
for unlimited Port Authority transportation from
the time of the first tap to the end of the service
day.
