Drafting and Word Choice Background: Helping students recognize and appreciate the power of precise word choice can be challenging. We’ve scoured the web to provide writers a variety of tools that enable them to play with language and choose the best words for their work. These tools are available on the wikispace. How We Used the Work Included in this Center: The lesson plan provided here was used in Studio sessions last summer and has been replicated in a variety of different classrooms and professional learning sessions throughout the course of this year.
