Melissa Sienicki is a beautiful 28 year old actress, high
school youth minister and customer service rep for an
internet company. Melissa has been battling Ehlers
Danlos Syndrome since her diagnosis in 2012.
Currently she is mostly home-bound due to seizure-like
episodes with horrible pain triggered by any vibration.
Riding in a car, music, laptop sound, will cause these
painful episodes. She has found a neurosurgeon who
will to perform upwards of 4 different surgical
procedures on her brain. However, he is in New York
and wants her there in December. Travel is excruciating.
Air ambulance is her only option and that has a cost of $15,000. She also knows
that this will fix the brain part of her illness, but not all of the rest of the EDS
symptoms which may be made worse by this major surgery--so she is still trying to
decide whether or not to go forward measuring...pain...cost...outcome. Even without
the brain surgery, the EDS medical expenses still exist.
Please bring this flyer to Culver’s on Dec 9, 2014
Then, enjoy your meal knowing it will help Melissa with her medical expenses.
