Summer Bridge to College Program
In the Summer of 2012, YWLN will launch Bridge
to College in 13 qualifying network schools.
 The Bridge to College program supports college-bound graduating seniors as
they navigate the obstacles that arise during the summer before they begin
college.
 Far too many low-income students who intend to matriculate into college
abandon (or consider abandoning) their college plans over the summer

 Research shows that far too many students drop out of college even after
have completed three or more years of college.
 We will use data to determine whether or not we have a population of
students that could benefit from increased interventions as they approach the
finish line.
