Dog fouling, Scalford—again!
I apologise for an incorrect listing of the
dog loos in Scalford in last month’s Village
News. The actual sites are by the South
Street triangle, on the South Street car
park, at the top of King Street and close to
the Old Dairy site.
There is no dog loo on the recreation ground,
as dogs are not allowed there.
Doggie bags
should not be placed in the bin on that site
(which is not for dog waste), and owners
should keep their dogs on a lead staying on
the footpath and behind the goal posts.
Dog owners are also reminded that those who
offend against the dog fouling laws can be
prosecuted: the Parish Council have had so
many complaints about dog fouling that they
would like to encourage those who make the
complaints to name some of the offenders to
the Parish Council.
ALLOTMENT RENTS
will be collected in the School
6.00 pm on Friday, 6th April
A reminder will be circulated to all
allotment holders explaining the price
increase.

ADVERTISING
The new advertising pages are being prepared and should appear for
the first time in the June issue.
Please let me know as soon as
possible if you wish to advertise OR IF YOU WISH TO CONTINUE
ADVERTISING FOR ANOTHER YEAR — there will be no opportunity
to add, or alter, advertisements until June 2008.
Only very short
advertisements (2/3 lines) can be included (or removed or altered) in
the monthly Small Ads column.
Costs will appear next month:
there will be some increase on last year’s prices—£50 per page for the
year, £25 half and £12.50 a quarter—but hopefully not a too drastic
one!
