Located just outside of Pensacola, Florida, on Perdido Bay, Kugelman Campus offers weeklong, half-week,
and weekend camping programs for girls. Girls attending camp have the opportunity to work on Girl Scout

Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama
Camp Name: Camp Cottaquilla
Camp Location: Anniston, AL
Located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains near the highest point in Alabama, Camp Cottaquilla
offers sprawling hardwood forests, soaring mountains, miles of hiking trails, and 1,800 acres to explore. A
small lake near the center of the camp provides the ideal location for girls to try canoeing, kayaking, paddle
boarding, and fishing, and the swimming pool offers a welcome reprieve from the summer’s heat. There’s
also archery, riflery, low ropes, “nature nook,” and campfire circle. Camp Cottaquilla is ACA accredited.

Nestled along the banks of the winding Cahaba River near Trussville, Alabama, Camp Coleman features 140

Farthest North Girl Scout Council

Camp Name: Shadow Rim Ranch
Camp Location: Payson, AZ
Shadow Rim Ranch is a 40-acre camp located outside of Payson, Arizona, along the beautiful Mogollon Rim.
Camp facilities include modern and rustic cabins, flushing toilets, covered program ramadas, a “pake” (too
big to be a pond, too small to be a lake), climbing tower, zip line, and an original 1800’s homesteaders’
house. Shadow Rim offers resident and family camp opportunities. Activities include trips, canoeing,
woodworking, teambuilding, outdoor education, American heritage education, archery, outdoor cooking,
hiking, nature programming, and arts and crafts.

Girl Scouts – Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas
Camp Name: Camp Cahinnio
Camp Location: Booneville, AR
Camp Cahinnio is a rustic property with seven trails covering three-plus miles, a private lake, and four living
units—from cabins to two-person tents. During the summer we provide typical camping activities like
archery, canoeing, and hiking, as well as a specialty focus each week (e.g., survival, games/sports, creative
arts, STEM). We offer canoeing and kayaking at seven different skill levels, and a leadership development
program for girls entering 6th through 12th grades. Also available is troop and family camping over a few
summer weekends, as well as, this year, two travel sessions: one to Boundary Waters for canoeing, and the
other (a girl-planned trip) across Arkansas.

Camp Menzies in nestled into the Sierra Nevada mountains at an elevation of 5000 ft. The property features
six living units, hiking trails, separate swimming and canoeing lakes, a meadow, and craft and nature
centers. Dining is al fresco! Our camp offers over 50 different summer programs from art, theater,

Camp Tapawingo is a 640-acre camp facility located 15 miles from Peoria. The cornerstone of this property is
its Equestrian Center, where girls learn horseback riding and horse care. These state-of-the-art stables house
an air-conditioned indoor classroom, trading post, barn classroom, and indoor riding arena. Mary Morgan
Lodge, a multi-level, air-conditioned dining hall and program center, is where campers gather for meals and
activities. Camp Tapawingo also features an in-ground pool, adventure course, archery, canoeing, and miles
of hiking trails. Campers utilize four main rustic living units—Rustling Oaks, Setting Sun, White Cloud, and

Camp Location: Bennettsville, SC
Sandy Ridge is on 500 acres of beautiful sand hills and includes two lakes. With a capacity of 72 girls per
session, Sandy Ridge is the perfect place to spend summer break. Facilities include a swimming pool, archery
range, sports field, clay pit, and air-conditioned dining hall. There are three sleeping units; two are air
conditioned while one is in a heavily shaded area. Girls can attend traditional resident camp, enjoy a camp

Camp Mitre Peak is located in the rugged mountains of West Texas at the base of our 6,000-foot namesake,
Mitre Peak. The camp program is girl-led: girls choose all activities they participate in, including hiking,
rappelling, archery, swimming, horseback riding, arts & crafts, pottery, jewelry making, and STEM, as well as,

Camp Casa Mare on Galveston Bay is a tropical paradise for ocean lovers and landlubbers alike. The warm,
salty breezes, the call of gulls, and the sight of sailboats gliding across the bay provide the perfect setting for
seaside fun. A fleet of sunfish, lasers, and sloops offers a challenging experience for those who wish to gain
expertise in our mariner program or just learn the basics of sailing. There are also many activities for

Camp Location: Conroe, TX
Horseback riding is the main attraction at Camp Misty Meadows, near Conroe, Texas. The equestrian center
includes four riding arenas and a herd of 40 horses waiting to be ridden, hugged, and groomed by campers.
In addition to our four-legged attractions, the camp offers a pool, archery range, and covered pavilion. Girls
can participate in traditional camp activities such as making crafts, enjoying nature, going on hikes, cooking
outdoors, and playing games. Cabins and dormitories are home to girls at Misty Meadows, and campers eat
most of their meals in the climate-controlled lodge.

Camp La Jita is a Native American phrase meaning “precious possession,” aptly chosen as the name of
this Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas camp that rests on 236 acres of Texas Hill Country land along
the beautiful Sabinal River. Camp La Jita has seen thousands of happy campers since it opened in
1946. Here, girls develop independence while under the supervision of specially trained camp staff who
help girls plan activities to create a unique camp experience. Activities range from riding horses, swimming,

Located on 123 acres of beautiful ranch country tucked away in Provo Canyon, Trefoil Ranch has amazing

Camp Name: Camp Skimino
Camp Location: Williamsburg, VA
Camp Skimino is located on 90 wooded acres near Williamsburg, Virginia. Camp includes a swimming pool,
boating pond, two modern bathhouses, and a large playing field. The dining hall, craft house, health lodge,
and some housing units are air conditioned. Camp Skimino programs are written with the interests of girls in

grades 1–12 in mind, and each grade-level program uses the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to inspire girls

Lodge, one of the camp’s oldest structures, is a great place for a girl to express herself creatively with arts &

miles of trails and a freshwater lake. Campers participate in swimming, nature programs, arts and crafts,
canoeing, kayaking, sailing, campfires, cookouts, hiking and sleeping under the stars. Campers in grades 4
and above go on an overnight on our upper property or Hood Canal. Campers stay in open-air cabins or
teepees with up to five other girls. A covered area for cookouts, running water and pit toilets are nearby. All
meals are served family style. Girls sit with other camper groups so they make friend and hear about other
girl’s experiences at camp. Our skilled kitchen staff prepares healthy meals with multiple options to choose
from. Our cooks are experienced at accommodating special dietary needs. At Robbinswold, campers get the
chance to learn about all of the wildlife in the Hood Canal, including starfish and all of our other touch tank
creatures!

Girl Scout Camp St. Albans surrounds beautiful Lake Devereaux on over 300 wooded acres with over five
miles of horse trails. Camp St Albans is a rustic camp where girls get away from the pressures and chaos of
daily life and reconnect with nature and their peers. Camp St Albans has a variety of activities to choose
from, including swimming, Viking boats, arts and crafts, nature exploration, outdoor skill building, archery
campfires, cookouts and singing songs. Campers stay in living units such as open-air cabins, platform tents
or indoor sleeping shelters. Girls attending specialty camp trip sessions sleep in the trees in our hammock
living unit. Campers eat most meals together family style in the Lodge of Nations and give the food four and
