Ducklings
This week we have had ducklings down in our Foundation Stage. They arrived as eggs
and we have watched them hatch and grow into beautiful little ducklings. Nursery have
been doing a timeline on their twitter, which you will be able to see and watch the
journey. @SacredHeartyn
Worship Warriors
The children performed last weeks Worship Warriors in our school assembly on Monday
which was the wise and foolish builders. This week during their Worship Warriors session
they learned about God cares for Naaman, again they will be performing this at our next
assembly.
Mariam
This is Mariam, she will be in the office Wednesday—Friday and is able to
help with Arabic translation if needed.
.‫ وسوف تكون قادرة على المساعدة في الترجمة إذا لزم األمر‬،‫ الجمعة‬- ‫سوف تكون مريم في المكتب األربعاء‬
SATs
KS2 children will be starting their
SATs next week which will take place
in the morning. It is essential that
children are in school every day
during this week. Children in year 6
are being offered free breakfast club
for this week so that they can feel
relaxed and happy before they sit their
tests.
Mrs Hamilton
We would like to welcome Mrs Hamilton to our school family. She is a learning
support assistant in KS2. Please say hello to Mrs Hamilton when you see her
around school.
We really enjoyed our Careers Carousel where we go the chance to talk to
people who work in a range of different settings. We asked about how
they entered their line of work and the qualifications we might need in
order to follow in their footsteps. We found out about careers we had
never even heard of and all of the visitors were really impressed by our
questions and good manners!
We have been working
incredibly hard
revising for our SATs.
We have been using
punctuation cards to
work together to find
missing punctuation.
We had great
fun with MGL
this week. We
saw robots in
action and got
to explore the
ocean using
Virtual Reality!
