District 9600 Conference
This week we are presenting the Pride of
Workmanship Awards, always one of the happiest
meetings of the year. It is the tradition in our club
for members to recognise people we meet regularly
in our business lives or the wider community who
give exemplary service. These people display
outstanding qualities in their approach to their job,
and dedication and commitment in their workplace.
In short, they go the extra mile. By nominating
someone for an award a High-Rise member believes
the person worthy of public recognition by the club
and we acknowledge the contribution each person
makes in their workplace and also the value they
add to community.

INTERNATIONAL TOAST
This week we toast the Rotary Club of Siena, located at NH
Hotel Excelsior Piazza La Lizza 1, Siena, 53100, Italy. They
meet on Thursdays at 8.00 pm.
Some clubs prefer to make the awards competitive
but there is a growing trend, and the one that I
favour, to recognise each of the nominees on the
basis that our members have determined this
person’s service is exemplary and worthy of
recognition. Our nominees for 2016 are:
