will lead a walk focusing on the nectar from
plants and will hopefully include honey tasting.

Guided Nature Walks
Dawn Chorus Walk
Explore Paxton Pits Nature Reserve with
experienced local experts. The route taken will
depend on the time of year and conditions
underfoot, but will be designed to show you the
best of what the Reserve has to offer. Walks
start at the Visitor Centre at 10:30am and will
last approximately two hours.
Enjoy a guided walk and hear the massed choir
of Paxton Pits’ Birds (including Nightingales)
£2.50 each, pay at the door
£2.50 per person per walk
No need to book, just pay on the day.

by its membership and fund-raising activities.
These walks should also benefit those who are
getting beyond that stage and wish to go a little

reserve. We undertake to help you see as many
species as possible - but only if you agree to donate
10p for every species recorded. We aim to identify 50
species.

A gentle amble, starting at the Visitor Centre, ideal for
people with little or no experience of wildlife, but also
of benefit to those with rather more birding knowledge

Spring Migration Watch

Our annual bird watch is always exciting. This
year we are inviting everyone who is out on the
reserve to phone in ALL wildlife sightings, not
just the birds. Use your mobiles to ring our
01480 406795 hotline throughout the day. No
charge, but please call in at the Visitor Centre on
arrival and departure to assist us and to keep
abreast of the action.

The Chief Executive Officer of our local Wildlife Trust
looks into the future to see what our wildlife might be like
in 50 years’ time, if the Wildlife Trust succeeds in its aims.
There will be refreshments on sale, a raffle, sales of preread books, and the opportunity to renew your membership,
etc.
