Hand-dyed tenugui are more natural feeling. Machine-printed
designs looks so straight and artificial that they make you get
bored. There exist no so straight lines in the nature!

About Chu-sen method (1/2)
Chu-sen is a dye method invented in Osaka in the year of 1900 for
producing economy textiles for mass consumption. Dyes are
poured over the surface of tenugui cloths from a pitcher, and a
vacuum pump set beneath sucks the dyes quickly. This method
enables overlapped 20 tenugui cloths being dyed at the same time.

About Chu-sen method (2/2)
Chu-sen tenugui absorbs water and sweat quickly, has good
cotton feeling, and is selectable from a wide variety of beautiful
designs.
Chu-sen dyed tenugui is double-sided design. Both sides are
beautifully dyed. You can enjoy the symmetry images.
If you compare with a pigment printed tenugui, you can tell the
clear difference of beauty. Chu-sen tenugui has more natural
tastes than 'printed' tenugui.
