Eid
Eid al-Fitr is expected to fall on
Wednesday 6th July. We allow
all Muslim families a single day
of absence from school to
observe and celebrate this
festival. Please let the office
know if your child will be
absent from school.
Eid Mubarak!
Attendance and
Punctuality
Mrs Winterbottom is our
Learning Mentor – she is
around
in
mornings
to
promote punctuality and help
with attendance.
Families are invited to the Sculpture Showcase on Tuesday 12th July at
2.30pm. There will also be an opportunity to see the dance we have
been working on this term,
which we will be performing
later on in the week at Yorkshire
Sculpture Park.
Exhibition
We are very proud to exhibit our
refugee artwork at the Winter
Gardens all this week! Only a
small selection of the work could
be exhibited, but on the 8th July
at 2.30pm we would like to invite you into school where work from
Nursery up to year 6 will be put on display. We will be baking and
collecting money to support The City of Sanctuary charity. Children will
remain in school during this time.
If you have any questions or
concerns about attendance
and punctuality, please make
sure you see her! 
Doors in the Morning
Remember, classroom doors
open at 8.45am and close at
8.55am – you’ve got a ten
minute window to get into
class on time!
