High Performance Epoxy Grout Pack
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Ultrabond EGP is a three component, 100% solids, high performance, high strength epoxy grouting system. It is a solvent free, low
odor, moisture insensitive, prepackaged epoxy grout system. Ultrabond EGP can be mixed to a flowable, self leveling consistency
as well as a non-sag trowel grade consistency and is ideal for use
in temperatures ranging from 40°F - 110°F.
APPLICATIONS INCLUDE:
• High strength grouting – vibratory, high impact, heavy load conditions
• Trowel grade patch & spall repair – when mixed with full amount of the prepackaged silica sand
(approximately 4:1 ratio by volume – sand to liquid)
• Self leveling patch & spall repair – when mixed with partial amount of the prepackaged silica sand
(approximately 3:1 ratio by volume – sand to liquid)
• Patching and repairing warehouse, office and garage floors
• Machine Base Grouting

Note, when all components of the grout kit are mixed (full kit = 4:1 ratio sand to epoxy), the resulting
product is a non-sag, trowelable grout system. The volume of sand can be reduced down to a 3:1
ratio by volume (sand to epoxy) to create a grout mix with a flowable consistency.

HP Epoxy Grout Kit- 2 Cubic Foot Kit
Resin and hardener are packed in the same pail. Add aggregate (included)
Mixing Instructions 2.0 cu ft kit: AGGREGATE MUST BE COMPLETELY DRY:
Component-A (resin) is packaged in a 5 gallon pail and Component-B (hardener) is packaged in a 1 gallon can (that is contained in the 5 gallon pail). Component-C (aggregate) is packaged in (4) 50 lb lined bags.
Pour the entire contents of component-B (hardener) into the 5-gallon pail (resin).
Mix for approximately 2 minutes with a low speed drill (300 – 400 rpm) with a mix paddle attachment (i.e. a jiffy mixer) keeping the paddle below the surface of the material to avoid entrapping air. Important note, any air that is incorporated into the
grout mix will yield an inferior grout repair material.
Pour liquids into mortar mixer making sure to remove all resins from sides and bottom of pail (use spatula).
Add initial bag of aggregate prior to starting mixer.
Start mixer and slowly add remaining three bags of aggregate. Continue mixing until aggregates are wetted out and mix is
uniform in consistency. DO NOT OVER MIX.
Mixing Instructions 0.50 cu ft kit: AGGREGATE MUST BE COMPLETELY DRY:
Component ‘A’ (resin) and component ‘B’ (hardener) are packaged in separate containers and are both
contained inside a 5 gallon pail, along with a 50 lb bag of aggregate (component ‘C’).
The 5 gallon pail is used as the mixing container for all three components, mix as follows:
Remove all items from the 5 gallon pail.
Pour the entire contents of both ‘A’ & ‘B’ components into the 5-gallon pail.
BEFORE adding the aggregate, mix for approximately 2 minutes with a low speed drill (300 - 400 rpm)
with a mix paddle attachment (i.e. a jiffy mixer) keeping the paddle below the surface of the material to
avoid entrapping air. Important note, any air that is incorporated into the grout mix will yield an inferior
grout repair material.
If making patch & spall repairs, set aside a small amount of the neat resin to use as a primer coat.
Slowly add component “C” (aggregate) and mix thoroughly while carefully scraping the sides and the

out and entire contents are uniform in consistency (approximately 3 – 4 minutes). DO NOT OVER MIX.
one kit
Fill Ratio:
Both of the above kits can be mixed and used at a variable
fill ratio (by weight) that ranges from the full packaged kit of
6.5 to 1 ratio (trowelable) down to 4.9 to 1 ratio (flowable).
The fill ratio is the weight of the aggregate compared to the
combined weight of the resin and hardener components.
Both kits are prepackaged at the 6.5 to 1 ratio; When a
flowable consistency is desired, this mix ratio can be reduced to 4.9 to 1 simply by:
• 0.5 cubic foot kit: Mixing all but 12.5 lbs of the prepackaged aggregate mix.
• 2.0 cubic foot kit: Mixing all but one (1) bag (50 lbs.) of
the prepackaged aggregate mix.
