The theme for Term one is Summer and our Curriculum focus is: Communication through the Arts Board of Trustees: Board of Trustees elections will be held in Term 2 nationwide. We trust people will start considering standing for the Board. Information is available via NZSTA Helpdesk ph 04 473 4955 or you are most welcome to attend a Board Meeting to observe. I am happy to meet anyone if you have further queries. Board meetings are usually held monthly, on a Tuesday, unless it falls during a school holiday. RDA and Gymnastics: Lessons for riding and gym commence next week. The Board of Trustees has agreed to pay all the costs involved for both these activities this year. School Donation Although we don’t have school fees, we do ask for a $25 donation towards extra costs involved in our individual, class and school activities. If paid by 31st March, $20. We also ask for $20.00 towards costs of stationery and photocopying for the year please. Cheques payable to: Kea Street Specialist School. Our annual school picnic will be held at Boyes Beach, Lake Okareka (weather permitting), Parents, Caregivers are warmly invited. It would be great to have as many of you attend as possible.
