1. From Boston, the commander of the British forces in America

2. Before the order reached British soldiers, American spies set off a
series of alarms to warn the countryside. Shortly after 10:00 PM, ______ lanterns glowed briefly from

3. Around midnight Paul Revere reached the small town of Lexington and shouted, “The Regulars are

The 2nd Continental Congress met again in Philadelphia. This time, all
