GENERAL INFORMATION
1 Callsign for RTF frequency used when instructed after take-off 'London Control'. Report callsign, SID designator, current altitude and initial cleared altitude on first
contact with 'London Control'.
2 En-route cruising level will be issued after take-off by 'London Control'. Do not climb above SID levels until instructed by ATC.
3 Maximum 250KIAS below FL100 unless otherwise authorised.
4 Obstacle clearance Requirements:
RWY 07 Aircraft able to achieve 230 by the departure end of the RWY may use a minimum climb gradient of 3·6% to 750,
RWY 25 Aircraft able to achieve 170 by the departure end of the RWY may use a minimum climb gradient of 4·1% to 460.
5 Climb gradients in excess of 3.3% are necessary for ATM purposes.
6 For ATC purposes NEPNA is a compulsory reporting point.
7 If Pilots wish to deviate from the published routes for weather or traffic avoidance, they are to make their request to the controller as soon as practicable.
