2 “Sculpture Outdoors” Broome County Arts Council Guided
Walking Tours, Downtown Binghamton
Guided Walking Tours begin Kennedy Park (Henry Street/Chenango
Street) and end Confluence Park (Memorial Bridge/North Shore Drive),
11AM, 1PM and 3PM. Walk to eight (8) public sculptures that trace
Binghamton’s history with stops at the Broome County Court House,
Government Plaza and 20 Hawley Street. Tour Guide Jillian Proscia shares

Frame To Please Shop, 118 Washington Avenue, Endicott (next to
Antique Gallery), 12PM and 2PM. Women sing Sacred Spirituals
also called “Negro Spirituals” born from pain and misery of
slavery. Some songs carried messages for slaves escaping to
freedom. Music, exhibit and talks with Brenda Cave-James about
the area’s Underground Railroad and role of the local African
