10th April - (Championship Show)
1st – 6th Rosettes for all classes
Points awarded in Junior (16 and under) and Senior (over 16) sections for Prelim and overall (juniors and seniors
together) for all other classes
1st place = 6 points 2nd 5 points 3rd 4 points 4th 3 points 5th 2 points and 6th 1 point
Points winners will be awarded prizes after the relevant class has finished at the championship show on April 12th.

Competition Rules












Entries close on the Monday before the date of the competition
Entry Fee: £10 per entry. Cheques to be made payable to ‘Askham Bryan College'
No entry will be accepted without payment in full
Late entries may be accepted depending upon the current number of entries but there will be an additional
£2 entry fee
The organisers reserve the right not to accept any further entries once the entry limit has been exceeded
Times will be posted on our website on the Friday before the competition please visit

If you are unable to make the day entered, entries will not be moved over to next competition date, no
refunds for withdrawals after times have been posted on website
In case of bad weather please call 01768 893442 – Newton Rigg reserves the right to cancel the competition
at any point

We strongly recommend that you have your own Public liability insurance
Neither Newton Rigg College or any person acting on their behalf, accept any liability for loss, damage,
accident, injury or illness to horses, riders or spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever.
