The Scout who sells to the mystery house will win a Grand Prize. Clues about the mystery house and promotions will be posted to the Council Facebook page. Mystery houses will open at the District popcorn kickoff. Above and Beyond Program - Units who achieve a 5% growth in sales, from 2015 total sales, will receive a 50% bonus commission on the portion of sales that exceed 5%. New selling units or units who did not sell in 2015 will qualify for sales over $5,000. $650 Club – Scouts who sell $650 of popcorn will gain admission to Clemson Day or Carolina Day. *Units that sell $10,000 of popcorn will be able to send their entire unit to Clemson Day. *Boy Scouts/Venturers/Explorers who earn the $650 Club will also have a “special session” at the Clemson Day. The Clemson/Carolina Day – Scouts and their families can attend a Clemson or Carolina Sports Clinic, participate in sports activities with student athletes and get a behind the scenes tour! Scouts who sell at least $650 will also receive a limited edition Clemson or Carolina-Boy Scout baseball hat and have the opportunity to have their hats autographed by student athletes. *Baseball hat is available to $650 sellers only, there will not be additional hats to purchase. For units that qualify for $10,000 in sales, only $650 sellers from that unit will receive a hat. **Carolina Day is coordinated by the Indian Waters Council. $1,000 Club – Scouts who sell $1,000 of popcorn will gain admission to the Blue Ridge Council Super Trip. Plus all the things that come from the $650 Club! Cub Scouts will attend an overnight experience at Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia in Spring 2017. Boy Scouts/Venturers/Explorers will attend an outdoor experience at the Whitewater Center in Charlotte in Spring 2017. $2,500 Club – Scouts who sell $2,500 of popcorn will earn a free week at Camp Old Indian or Day Camp. 6% of sales is also invested into a college scholarship by Trail’s End. Plus all the things that come from the $1,000 and $650 Clubs! All members of the $2,500 Club will be entered into a special Grand Prize drawing to give away either a PS4 or Xbox One at the end of the sale. Weekly “Galactic” Drawing – Once Scouts earn the Galactic patch (see below), they can submit a form to the Council and be entered in a weekly drawing to win a prize from the prize stash. There will be seven weekly drawings starting September 2. (Only need to sell one of each product from Show & Sell product list to qualify for “1 of Each” segment.) When Scouts sell $650 of popcorn they will receive an invitation (parents & siblings included) to a Sports Clinic with Clemson or South Carolina coaches & student athletes and one collectible baseball hat. Boy Scouts/Venturers/Explorers who earn the $650 Club will also have a “special session” at the Clemson Day. *Baseball hat is available to $650 sellers only, there will not be additional hats to purchase. For units that qualify with $10,000 in total sales, only $650 sellers from that unit will receive a hat. **Carolina Day is coordinated by the Indian Waters Council. 2016 Pricing & Commission Standard commission for 2016 is 30%. By completing the Unit Commitment Form, units can earn the 33% commission rate. Units that exceed the best year of their last 5 years by any amount can earn the 38% commission rate (Must also qualify for 33% commission rate). New selling units or units that did not sell in 2015 can earn the 38% commission rate by selling $5,000 or more. Units who achieve a 5% growth in sales, from 2015 total sales, a 50% commission on the portion of sales that exceed 5%. New selling units or units who did not sell in 2015 will qualify for sales over $5,000. To earn the 33% commission rate, your unit must complete all of the following: 1. Attend the Council popcorn training on July 14 2. Complete Unit Commitment Form and set a unit sales goal by July 29 3. Conduct a unit popcorn kickoff by September 23 4. Every Scout in your unit completes a Scout Commitment Form and sets a personal sales goal by September 23 (units keep these) 5. Submit your popcorn order, prize order and all forms to the Blue Ridge Council by Noon on Friday, November 4 6. Pick up popcorn order at assigned distribution site on November 19 7.
