Optional pick-up service is provided in a luxury vehicle. The five star Krasnapolsky hotel: The hotel has one of the best locations in Amsterdam, right on dam square and behind the national monument. This hotel is quite fitting for your tour, as the founder of the hotel, Wilhelm Krasnapolsky originally started out as a tailor. The hotel was completely renovated in the past year. Welcome cocktail: Come celebrate our first day of the tour with a welcome cocktail made with exclusive, homemade liqueurs, bitters, infusions and sodas designed by Tess Posthumus and the Dutch distillery Wynand Fockink. In the evening we will enjoy dinner and wine in the winter garden of the Grand Café restaurant in the Krasnapolsky. We will be located right in the middle of Amsterdam, very close to the historic centre, which makes this location ideal if you would like to take a leisurely stroll after dinner or go out for a drink. Day 2 Guided Tour with Carlo Wijnands: After breakfast you will take a guided tour with Carlo Wijnands. Carlo is a central figure in the Amsterdam Fashion scene, he is former program director of fashion week and an exhibition organiser. He will be our guide and take us to two designers and visit their ateliers in the centre of Amsterdam. Visit Esther Dorhout Mees*: We will first visit Esther Dorhout Mees worked many years as a designer for established labels, such as Bruuns Bazaar and Tommy Hilfiger before she started her own label. Lady Gaga wore one of her dresses and has now ordered more dresses designed especially for her. Lunch: We will have lunch at the Restaurant-Café In de Waag. After lunch, we will tour the this magnificent historic building built in 1488. The venture founded in 2001 by Marcel Wanders and Casper Vissers is named after their native Dutch word for beautiful – the third ‘o’ in the brand name stands for an extra value in terms of beauty & uniqueness. Lunch Bas Kosters Inspirational Tour In the afternoon we meet Bas Kosters, a young Dutch Fashion Designer, that will take us around to his favourite inspirational spots in Amsterdam. Early dinner: To prepare for the night we will have an early (17.00h) dinner in Art Deli near the hotel Opening of Amsterdam Fashion Week In the evening we will visit the opening fashion show of at the Westergasfabriek. We will attend the exciting Opening party of Fashion Week Amsterdam. From the ferry you can see a number of landmark buildings was established here over the last years giving the area a futuristic outlook. Lunch Denham and Van Gils Flagship Stores We will visit Denham in their flagship store in the museum quarter, and then we will stopover at the new Van Gils flagship store in Amsterdam and meeti with CEO Harry van der Zee. Dinner In the evening we will have dinner at a restaurant of the Amsterdams new Dutch Food scene. After that we will visit one of the many Amsterdam Fashion Week parties. The hotel is very close to the famous '9 straatjes' translated into Nine Little Streets.
