Multiplication Hand Trick
6, 7, 8, 9, 10
(Example is 7X8)
Fingers above touching fingers:
Multiply the number on the left hand
fingers to the number of fingers on
the right hand. (Remember: only the
fingers above the touching fingers)
3 (left fingers) X 2 (right fingers) = 6
Touching fingers and below: Count
these fingers by tens.
5 (fingers on the bottom) = 50
Add the top and bottom answers together to get the answer to your
multiplication problem. 50 + 6 = 56
7 X 8 = 56
