DIESELEX GOLD Product Specification Sheet Features: Exceeds ASTM D975 requirements for #2 diesel fuel Exceeds ASTM D396 requirements for #2 burner fuel oil Meets or exceeds the ―premium‖ criteria recommended by NCWM, EMA, and TMC for thermal stability and detergency Passes industry standard for DW-10 and XUD-9 Injector Test (Detergency Measurement) Delivers lubricity protection targeted at minimum 460 µm (HFRR test procedure—ASTM 6097) and easily exceeds the Engine Manufacturer’s Association (EMA) recommendations. Passes the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) fuel corrosion test (ASTM 665A) Dieselex Gold contains optimum amounts of the following chemistry to improve diesel fuel’s inherent performance characteristics: Cetane Improver – enhances fuel ignition quality for faster starts, improved combustion, and produces cleaner emissions. Detergent – cleans up both traditional carbon deposits from fuel injector tips and orifices and newer Internal Diesel Injector Deposits (IDID) also known as sticky deposits. Cleaning up injectors improves engine performance by restoring lost power, improving fuel economy and producing fewer harmful emissions. Corrosion Inhibitors – improve the life of storage tanks and fuel system components by reducing rust and corrosion. Lubricity Enhancer – reduces wear in critical moving parts of fuel pumps and injectors by preventing harmful friction. Oxidation Inhibitors – optimized to reduce sludge build-up from deteriorating fuel through dispersant action, prevent formation of gums and fuel system deposits, and extend filter life. Fuel Stabilizers – extend stored fuel life by helping the fuel to retain its original quality longer. Demulsifier – helps diesel fuel shed free moisture and allows it to drop to the bottom of tanks for physical removal. Moisture Control – helps solubilized moisture move through the engine without increasing wear or degrading fuel performance. Reduces moisture accumulation throughout the fuel system that can lead to corrosion, microbial activity, and associated operational problems. GROWMARK, Inc. · P.O.
