The ‘Dressing Up’ day last Friday was wonderful, thank you for the effort that was made with the costumes. Finally, many thanks to everyone who purchased a book from the Book Fair. As a school we earn a large amount of commission from the Book Fair that we look forward to reinvesting back into our own school library. This week’s Reading with your Child Top Tip is: Easter Parade th On Wednesday 5 April at 2pm we will be having our annual Easter Parade. All children (Rec – Y6) are invited to take part in the parade wearing Easter bonnets that they have made at home. Children can also bring in other Easter crafts that they have created such as Easter baskets, bunnies, chicks, pictures etc. All parents/carers are invited to join us in the hall as the children take to the catwalk in our Easter parade. We will have a panel of judges to select the winners from each class. These lucky winners will receive a gorgeous Easter egg. Get creative with your children over the coming weeks! We look forward to seeing their amazing creations! Use praise and make positive comments in their reading record REMINDER: School Car Park Star of the Week- Congratulations to this week’s stars. We are very proud of you! Reception: Holly Year 1: Lyla Year 2: Laila Year 3: Scott Year 4: Summer Year 5: Courtney Year 6: Katie Star Readers - Congratulations to our Star Readers this week! Reception: Olivia Year 1: Alexis Year 2: Heidi Year 3: Hollie Year 4: Leah Year 5: Faye Year 6: Lucy Please can we ask that parents do not park in the school car park, the car park is for staff and visitors and parking is extremely limited. Unfortunately, on a regular basis parents block in staff’s cars and also occupy the disabled bay thus preventing visitors who are disabled being able to park. By doing this the car park is becoming a hazard and puts children’s safety at risk. Please help us by reconsidering where you park. Many thanks with your support with this.
