It was a cool experience for me because we spent a lot of time interacting with the kids. I was impressed with the amount of knowledge they had on gardening. Not only did I really enjoy going but I also learned a lot. On April 4th and 5th, we had guest speakers talk to us about their careers. It was really cool to hear their personal story and how they ended up in their career. What they said was not only very interesting but also taught us life lessons. Even though they all had different careers, it was always the same message, which was to do what you love and get business handled in school." -Written by Kevin Negrete (11th grader) "Matt Imhof was a professional baseball player that came in to the Academy to speak. Matt was an interesting guest speaker because he made me realize that something you love can be taken away in a second and change your future. He didn’t let his injury determine the rest of his life and kept working and is still happy." -Written by Charlie Anguiano (11th grader) SUMMER SCHOOL CA Connections summer school is offered through the International Connections Academy Program (iNaCa). iNaCa is tuition based.
