You are an investigative reporter working for a British newspaper in the 19th century that has decided to publish a
special edition on the Industrial Revolution. You have been selected, with two other journalists, to lead this
assignment. It will be up to you to research, write, and design the newspaper.
Your group will use information from Chapter 9, Sections 1, 2 & 4 of your World History textbook and additional
online research to create a newspaper that contains all the elements listed below. You will divide up the tasks and
be responsible for specific individual elements (on which you will be graded individually), but will work together as a
group to brainstorm ideas, gather written and visual information, assemble the newspaper, and ensure that your
newspaper is cohesive.
