BUILDER INCENTIVES
On behalf of SOCKS, we are grateful that you are willing to donate your time, resources, and services to help support our shelter. In return, we want to help promote your business as much
as possible through our partnership with The Building Industry
Association of Okaloosa-Walton Counties (BIA) and their 38th
Annual Home Show that will be held at the Emerald Coast Convention Center on February 25th & 26th, 2017. Below we have listed some opportunities for your business to be
recognized and promoted to the community.






Your Cat Tree will be displayed at the 38th Annual Home Show and will have a sign
stating your company name. These trees will be voted on by the general public and
the winner will be awarded a Consumer’s Choice Award. There are typically 2000+
attendees to this event.

Company name will be listed in the official Home Show Guide that is distributed in
the Northwest Florida Daily News.
Company mentioned in PSA for Kits for Cats.
Winning Cat Tree and builder will be featured in the BIA’s quarterly magazine, The
Voice as well as SOCKS Newsletter.
Each Cat Tree will be featured with builder’s name on our Facebook page which has
over 4,100 followers.
CAT TREE SPECIFICATIONS





Cat Tree, Condos, or Furniture that can easily be cleaned and disinfected.
Materials used can be: PVC, Sisal, Carpet, Heavy Duty Plastic, Rubber, or Sealed
Wood or any combination of these materials.
Must be capable of moving through a standard sized doorway (80 inches high and 21
inches wide) and be no higher than a standard residential room ceiling (90 inches).
Can be broken into parts that require assembly, but must be easy to assemble.
Bright colors are desirable, but not required.

These trees can be delivered to the Emerald Coast Convention Center on Thursday February 23rd or Friday February 24th between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm at the rear
loading dock.
