Many markets have Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT/SNAP) machines which help to increase access of local farm-fresh foods to
families on federal nutritional assistance
programs. The general public can also use EBT/
SNAP machines to buy foods using a credit
card. Ask the market vendors if they accept
credit cards and check the guide listings for
markets that offer EBT/SNAP.
