DAY 2 Thursday 13 July / SPLIT – MOSTAR After breakfast, check out from hotel and departure to Split; time to spend in the Diocletian Palace/City, enjoy a walking tour to discover Split - free time on your own for lunch. Continue to Mostar UNESCO World Heritage-listed city; admire its famous historic Old Bridge symbolizing the crossroads of Eastern and Western civilizations, the colorful Old Bazaar with traditional handicrafts and a well-preserved traditional Turkish home. Check in at hotel Mostar. Dinner and overnight. DAY 3 Friday 14 July / DUBROVNIK – MONTENEGRO After breakfast, check out from hotel and departure to Dubrovnik. Visit the walled city and its important historical monuments: The Franciscan Monastery, St Blaise, Rectors’ Palace, Sponza Palace, the Orlando Statue etc... Late afternoon, departure to Montenegro. Check in at hotel Sato. Dinner and overnight. Day 4 Saturday 15 July / MONTENEGRO After breakfast, departure by bus to discover and admire the picturesque Montenegro coast, passing through the coastal towns of Bar, Sutomore, Sveti Stefan, “Porto Montenegro” in Tivat, continue to the medieval town of Budva where we will have some free time for lunch. Afternoon, a scenic drive along the beautiful Bay of Kotor. From Kotor Pier we will embark on a boat through the Bay, visit the island and the 17th century Baroque church of Our Lady of the Rock. Boka Kotorska is listed as World Heritage and protected by UNESCO. On returning to the mainland, enjoy a walking tour of the beautiful town of Kotor, one of the best-preserved medieval walled cities on the Adriatic, and protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dinner and overnight in Sato. Day 5 Sunday 16 July / MEDJUGORJE After breakfast departure to Medjugorje. You will have a free time where you can visit the Apparition Hill and climb Holy Cross Mountain, spend time in prayer in the Perpetual Adoration Chapel, buy your religious souvenirs etc… Check in at hotel Regina. Dinner and overnight. Day 6 Monday 17 July / SARAJEVO After breakfast, check out from hotel and departure to Sarajevo.Visit the capital of Bosnia. Look out for the famous Latin Bridge where Gavrilo Princip assassinated the Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand, in 1914 and led to First World War. Free time in its old part “Bascarsija” Bazaar, one of the most impressive and charming “Souk”. Since the 15th century it has been a trading and meeting place as caravans from Asia Minor and the West met here to trade their wares. Proceed to Serbia en route photo stop on the bridge in Višegrad, best known for Ivo Andrić’s Nobel-winning novel, The Bridge over the Drina River. Crossing the border check in at Ethnic village of Mecavnik. Dinner and overnight. Day 7 Tuesday 18 July / MOKRA GORA – BELGRADE After breakfast discover Mokra Gora, a village lying between Tara National Park and Zlatibor Mountains. On board of Sargan 8 train with steam locomotive and old wagons in scenic setting and with romantic station buildings, old narrow gauge railway that takes a wonderful route uphill towards Kremna, passing through 22 tunnels and on 10 bridges. It is worthy and unforgettable experience. Departure to Belgrade. Check in at hotel Envoy Evening dinner in a typical restaurant in Skadarlija (old part of the city) with Gypsy and Balkan music. Overnight. Day 8 Wednesday 19 July / BELGRADE – BEIRUT After Breakfast, Guided panoramic city tour of the former Capital of Yugoslavia now the Capital of Serbia: Belgrade; partly by bus partly on foot: The Republic Square, Theater, Federal Assembly, St. Sava Church. Walking in the Old Town, Terazije Square, Knez Mihailova St., Kalemegdan Park and fort, etc… Check out from hotel. Free time for shopping in USCE mall before departure to airport, for flight back to Beirut at 23:45.
